ADR Courses for Law Students
MKMS offers custom-designed courses on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for law students. The Course, which covers the syllabus of the ADR Module prescribed by most major universities, is generally offered through law schools.
The Course proposes to:
provide a clear understanding of the key concepts involved in arbitration, mediation, and negotiation;
help the students to identify and apply relevant laws to real-life situations; and
train the students on basic dispute resolution (advocacy, negotiation, mediation, etc), dispute avoidance (contract drafting, etc), and general analytical skills.
The Course will employ lectures, role-plays, group discussions, debates, and mini-moots to achieve its objectives, and engage students directly for 60 hours (in person or on Zoom) and indirectly for an additional 30 hours (through assignments and exams).
